Thanko Neck Cooler Lite
In hot weather, we feel the heat in our whole body but even more so in our head: a high concentration of blood vessels near the surface and less insulating fat than other areas of our body are to blame. That our brain is highly sensitive to temperature changes and that our scalp, face, and neck quickly transfer the heat to nerve endings don't help either. To respond to this, more and more manufacturers design devices that keep the temperature in our neck and head low, but these devices are often too cumbersome to carry around on a hot day. Not so with the Thanko Neck Cooler Lite: at a mere 180 g (6.3 oz), you won't even feel it's there! Thanko's Neck Cooler Lite is expandable, so if your neck has a circumference between 37 and 50 cm (14.6-19.7"), it can expand as big as 160 x 45 x 147 mm (6.3 x 1.8 x 5.8") and sit around your neck comfortably. Its two cooling plates can be set at three different modes (strong, weak, and alternating) and at their strongest setting keep their (and your head's) temperature -17°C lower than that of the environment. And for more flexibility and independence, the cooler does all that using any USB 5 V, 2.4 A battery you have! Specs and Features: Modes: strong, weak, alternating Cooling plate temperature: strong mode -17 to -10°C lower than environmental temperature, weak mode -9 to -5°C lower than environmental temperature, alternating mode, -13 to -5°C lower than environmental temperature For neck sizes: between approx. 37-50 cm (14.6-19.7") Dimensions (min.): 130 x 45 x 67 mm (5.1 x 1.8 x 2.6") Dimensions (max.): 160 x 45 x 147 mm (6.3 x 1.8 x 5.8") Weight: approx. 180 g (6.3 oz) Operating voltage: USB 5 V, 2.4 A (battery not included) Operating time: strong mode approx. 3.5 hours, weak mode approx. 5.5 hours, alternating mode approx. 4 hours Charging time: approx. 4 hours Materials: ABS, PC, aluminum Comes with approx. 120 cm (3.9 ft) USB Type-C cable Instructions/manual: Japanese
